Any images you upload will be saved in your Media Library, making it easy to reuse them elsewhere on your website.

Welcome to Best Self CBT, where I dedicate myself to supporting you on your journey towards better mental health and daily functioning. Based in Chester and Wrexham, as well as providing online therapy, I work with people aged 16 and above. I aim to create a warm, inviting atmosphere where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and any difficulties you experience and wish to change in your life. My approach is rooted in research evidence based cognitive behavioural therapy and it is delivered in a person-centred manner with empathy and understanding, recognising that each person's experience is unique. I believe in the power of collaboration, working alongside you to devise personalised strategies tailored to your specific needs and therapeutic goals. Together, we can navigate the complex landscape of your mind, helping you to reach your fullest potential.

My extensive experience as a BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist both in the NHS and private practice has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge in various therapeutic techniques, allowing me to offer you specialised care and support. I completed a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree with the Open University and a Master's level postgraduate diploma in CBT with the University of Chester. My specialist PTSD training was achieved at the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, and my ARFID training at Massachusetts General Hospital (affiliated with Harvard Medical School).

I prioritise integrity in my practice, ensuring that you receive honest and transparent treatment throughout our time together. The therapy I provide is not only evidence-based but also delivered with compassion and respect for your individuality. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or any personal challenges, I am here to help you uncover insights and foster resilience so you can live your best life.
